Ballybrado Apple Crumble

This is Annika\\'s favourite!

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan.
  2. Wash, peel, core and cut apples into 1cm wedges and place in a large lasagne dish.
  3. For the crumble, combine all ingredients and knead until you have a well-combined but crumbly consistency.
  4. Scatter the crumbles evenly on top of the cut apples.
  5. Bake in middle of oven for 40-45 mins. until crumble is golden brown.
  6. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream or vanilla ice-cream.

INGREDIENTS

Cooking apples - large 4-6 or medium 6-8

350g Ballybrado Organic Fine Whole Wheat Flour

50g ground almonds

200g sugar

200g soft unsalted butter or margarine

½ tsp. cinnamon
